Terms of Service
These are the ground rules for using this website. By poking around stickypicoon.com you’re saying you’re cool with them. If you’re not, no hard feelings, just don’t use the site.
Who we are
“stickypicoon” refers to stickypicoon studio, a software studio operating out of Silicon Valley, California. “You” is whoever is reading this, plus anything you do on or with the site.
Using the site
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to view and use the public pages of this site for your own non-commercial purposes. You can read it, share links to it, screenshot it, and show it to your friends. You can’t:
- Scrape it at industrial scale, mirror it wholesale, or use the content to train models without our written permission.
- Reproduce the logo, mascot, app icons, or brand assets in ways that imply endorsement, partnership, or origin from stickypicoon when there isn’t one.
- Attempt to attack the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or otherwise mess with the infrastructure.
- Use it to do anything illegal, fraudulent, or harmful.
Our work
All the text, illustrations, logo, mascot, photography, code, and app icons on this site are either ours or used with permission. They’re protected by copyright, trademark, and the usual intellectual-property machinery. The names of apps listed in the gallery, and their respective trademarks, belong to their owners.
Your communications
If you send us an idea, a pitch, feedback, or anything else, we’ll read it. We don’t accept unsolicited confidential information. If you share an idea publicly with us and we later build something similar, that’s a coincidence we can’t prevent. If you want a real engagement, please sign a written agreement with us first.
Apps in the gallery
Apps listed on this site may be ours, may be in development, may be retired, and may exist as concepts or playful placeholders. Availability on a given platform, price, features, and existence itself are all subject to change at any time without notice.
Third-party services
This site relies on Google Cloud Run for hosting and Google Fonts for typography. Their terms apply to those services. We aren’t responsible for things that happen on services outside of our control.
No warranties
We work hard to make this site good and accurate. That said, the site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including (without limitation) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against all attacks.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, stickypicoon and the people who make up stickypicoon will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) this site. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars.
Changes
We may update these terms now and then. The updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be flagged clearly. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California in the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
